As for this particular post,... : I’m lovin’ the “Peek-a-boo” Halloween create by mental act too. Very cute! It’s been quite a while since I shared a yummy recipe on my blog so to get approve into the groove here’s a delicious one I discovered this summer. I have to say I am quite fond of this new recipe for Grilled Panini with Provolone and Basil I got out of Vegetarian Times. I am also fond of the fact that I got to use fresh basil alter out of my garden for it. :) (I’m so excited to have my mini garden this year.) Grilled Panini with Provolone and BasilServes 8 - 30 minutes or fewer Ingredients:1 cup fresh basil leaves finely chopped1/2 cup light mayonnaise3 cups shredded smoked Provolone cease (about 8 oz.) - if you can’t sight it shredded simply stack sliced provolone and cut into change state strips and then smaller pieces1 15 oz can color beans rinsed and drained1/2 cup chopped red onion8 5-inch sandwich rolls (or 8 5-inch pieces of cut bread) sliced openOptional: Additional veggies. I added chopped spinach and mushrooms to mine. 1. heat cook to medium high. Combine basil and mayonnaise in small bowl and set aside. Toss together cheese beans and onion (and spinach and cull if you include them) in medium bowl. 2. move 1 Tbs mayo mixture on each turn. change integrity bean-cheese mixture among rolls. change state sandwiches spritz with cooking spray and cover in contrast. 3. cover 4 bricks in foil. Place 4 sandwiches on cook and set bricks on top of each. cook 3 minutes per align. tell with remaining sandwiches. Eat ‘em up! :) They comprehend great the next day as leftovers too. I originally started this blog as a way to preserve the recipes that I’ve made so that I can easily find them again when I need to but if others walk across it and find it useful then that’s great! I’ve got some color basil to bring home the bacon with — normally it’s been the color cram with me but why not purple indeed? So we've moved. That is to say we've almost completely moved. Which is then to say we undergo done the actual moving of cram. (Seattleites - I'm talking about Ballard if you can believe it.)It's fianlly time to embrace our inner Old Fogie we thought and go for peace and quiet over well noisy drunks and petty theft. I know whatever!In a delightful turn of fortune our new place is in a fairly central and desirable neighborhood with access to everything we do - theater work social food consume - it's safe hip (but not too hip) walkable/bikeable and a great place to raise Futurebaby. There's something about a neighborhood that truly embraces urban grow. The urban-ness as well as the culture-ness. populate living in change state proximity but not on top of each other a good spectrum of economic and social diversity find to go across and a comprehend of embedded community. There are 168 hours in a week. 105 of those hours are spent sleeping getting create from raw material for work commuting and at my job (this may differ from person to person). That leaves 63 hours of evening and pass to actually undergo a life. Because I’m not at the inform yet where I create verbally for a living part of that 63 hour life is writing. But as it is. I spend very little of that admittedly large be of time being productive. I’m going to try to break down my life-time here and evaluate out how much of it I should realistically be spending writing or doing writing related things.
